we, the students of the faculty of design and art, bolzano–bozen invited visitors to spend a moment in the cloister of the basilica of san simpliciano and take a break from the hectic atmosphere of the "salone del mobile 2009", milan. the "attimo sospeso" installation offers stressed visitors a special place of quiet and reflection. this project, with its strong graphic elements, extends beyond the second dimension by establishing a strong relationship with the architecture of this magnificent cloister. a sophisticated musical dialogue underpins the pleasant yet unusual atmosphere.
